You can consult multiple sites via the Fara Connect platform. These are visualised on a map and can be consulted individually. However, you must provide at least one gateway per site so that you can connect.
Controllers equipped with RS485 Modbus communication are in connectable. However, they must be included in the gateway’s libraries. FaraConnect is committed to providing the best of the best among cooling controllers as standard. A complete list of connectable products can be consulted here.
A controller should always be known in the library. If this is not the case, a customised library can be created. After that, reading the controller is possible.
Users can choose to have the updates performed automatically. Updating is always done remotely.
Multiple brands can be linked on a gateway. A gateway has two ports, so two brands can be linked per gateway.
The temperature where the logger is stored has an impact on its lifetime. The service life therefore depends on the application. We recommend using AA-LR6 type batteries (Lithium – Energyzer Ultimate). These offer optimum efficiency even at low temperatures.
The owner of the hardware is the one who has the unique key card. This is provided upon delivery of the gateway.
The key card is the only way to obtain ownership, assistance or support. If lost, a new gateway must be purchased.
