To use FaraConnect, hardware (gateways and loggers) must be purchased on the one hand, and an annual subscription is charged to keep the gateways accessible online on the other.
The purchase of a gateway already includes a two-year end-customer subscription, which starts from the activation of the gateway.
We distinguish between installers and end customers.
Installer subscription
A specific platform has been developed for installers: in addition to all the functionality of the FaraConnect portal for end customers, they also have access to all FaraConnect products installed by them, supplemented by additional functionalities, such as map display.
The installer is not obliged to subscribe to this platform, but is recommended if there are several installations online.
An annual fee is charged for this, contact us if you would like more information.
Subscription for end user
The end customer can via his personal FaraConnect platform:
- Consult real-time temperatures and graphs
- Consult statuses of the installation
- Adjust basic parameters (for RS485)
- Automatic reporting of temperatures
- Send notification in case of high/low temperature
- Receive notification when the appliance goes offline
To maintain the functionality of the gateway, an annual fee must be paid. When purchasing the gateway, the subscription formula is included for the first 2 years. From year 3 onwards, a voucher code should be purchased per user.
Voucher codes can be purchased through the installer or through the FaraConnect platform.
